I've recently been asked to perform as part of a charity concert, however I can only find a bass guitarist (who has also been asked to perform) who would be willing to play on my set. So far we can't think of any songs that would be worth doing with this arrangement - we're looking for something fairly upbeat and 'catchy.' We only need one or two songs to perform, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

In the 80s I saw Charlie Sayle play a whole night with a skinny electric base player and nothing else on diatonic and chromatic harp he played a lot of standards including My babe it was a great night,
Giles Robson was playing harp with just the stand up base in Monaghan a week ago , I walked in at the end so didnt get the song title ,but the groove was great

I have two kids that play bass, so often get involved with a harp/bass jam. Think of the bass as a good rhythm section that lets the harp focus on the lead/solo work. As previously said, all the better if you both can sing!
