Mr. Rubin here's a link to Dave Barrett's Harmonica Masterclass site

It has an artist listing that details album titles, songs, song keys, and key of harmonica used and position played.

Thanks, I knew about this and went to it 10 minutes later, sometimes I forget. I know the guy who assembled it, good player.

I love "Skip it"... It seems to be a 'cover' of his song "Have Mercy" from the Walter Horton with Carey Bell album, but in Skip it, Walter fills in Carey's part.

amazing what you find when you search the archives around here..

"Skip it" was actually played in 3rd on a solo-tuned harp (according to Pat Missin) on the "Can't Keep Lovin' You" album. Sounds really cool..

Hi Slaphappy, I've asked David about that list a couple of times. The first time he said it would be available again soon. The next time he said more like 'don't hold your breath'. Probably over a year since I asked. It's a shame I think. It was a handy resource.

I have a copy of the blues harmonica artist song and key listing-
It is in Microsoft Word format. I also have it in PDF format for non-word subscribers.
Let me know which works for you and post your e-mail address here.

I was thinking the same thing about the Honeydripper track! Such a cool one-chord groove..

You know Little Walter's version (Evan's Shuffle) right?
