Yes, Jason "Mooncat" Ricci has a AAA bond rating and is therefore exempt from the "for sale thread" rule.
In order to achieve a AAA bond rating, a harp player must:
1) be a personal friend of mine 2) play harmonica as well as Jason 3) upload a YouTube video entitled [FILL IN YOUR NAME] IS A GIRL in which you're crossdressed with full makeup AND blow harp in public in that guise.
Unless you meet the A standard in all three columns, please don't bother me. Only the truly exceptional need apply.
True story...I was set to play with a band at the local IBC qualifier yesterday. Turns out he told me to be there an hour than need be. I head down to Subway and a male crossdresser is sitting there looking awfully tough - it was early enough in the day to assume he was just getting up from a long night. A guy ahead of me in line is talking on a cell phone through his entire order and not paying attention to the order, which had to be frustrating for the person working. This person changed it like three times. I then realize the man in line ahead of me is actually a woman when I hear her start talking about her husband.
I start to chuckle at the circumstances and then realize I am the only white person in the resturaunt and I am wearing really nice black dress shoes with white socks (my bad...not the norm), dressy blues jeans, and a white t-shirt/old hooded sweatshirt. They aren't the only ones looking out of place (I had a dress shirt in the car). _______
Not totally related...
I then go back to the club and have to wait 4hrs for our set (drew the last spot) and head home immediately after finishing. I get home in time for the 6pm news and it turns out a little girl was kidnapped two blocks from the club, and the description of the guy who took her matches about 50% of the patrons at the club.
hummm....I wonder if my old Bushman video contest entry would count? It's not "I'm a Girl" but I did do a Christelle parody and it was public for a brief time.
Have to work on #1 but soon I will have an ex-Ricci harp so I will be well on my way for #2! ;)
I saw a guy dressed like a woman last year at HCH...She/he had long grey hair and a pony tail....she was blowing some mean harp. She /he told me her name was Todd Greene. Just sayin..... ----------
You would also think that if someone is selling something and they have it in the right place that they should post a price? But instead we have to contact the person to even get a price? Thats almost as bad as running an auction type ad.
